Michigan Association for Justice Hosts Annual No-Fault Institute Seminar

    On October 7-8, 2021, the Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ) is hosting No-Fault Institute XVIII – Confronting the Confusion: The New Law Now at Four Points by Sheraton in Novi, Michigan. Steve Pontoni, MAJ Executive Director, made the announcement.

    “We look forward to hosting the No-Fault Institute every year, and with the recent changes to No-Fault legislation, this year is set to be especially informational,” Pontoni said. “We hope to see a great showing for both days of the seminar with MAJ members and non-members in attendance.”

    Speakers at the two-day seminar will deliver information on a variety of pertinent topics, with the first day focusing on Personal Injury Protection (PIP) cases and the second day focusing on negligence. Moderators for the seminar are Wayne Miller, Miller & Tischler, P.C., and Thomas Sinas, Sinas Dramis Law Firm.

    The seminar is available both virtually and in person and is open to MAJ members and non-members. Cost for MAJ members is $520; MAJ members with three years or less of practice pay $340; MAJ sustaining members pay $300; MAJ paralegal and student members pay $315. The cost of the two-day event for non-members is $790. Judges have complimentary access to the event.

    COVID vaccines are required to attend the 2021 No-Fault Institute. Masks are recommended, but are not required.
