Jennifer Margraf Appointed Executive Director at Kevin’s Song

    GROSSE POINTE FARMS, Mich. — Kevin’s Song, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering communities to prevent suicide and offering hope and healing to survivors, announced the appointment of Jennifer Fair Margraf as its new executive director. The announcement was made by Kevin’s Song Co-Founders John and Gail Urso.

    “We’re thrilled to welcome Jennifer as our new executive director and are certain her extensive professional experience, coupled with her dedication to our organization’s mission, will make her a transformative leader for Kevin’s Song,” said the Ursos. “We are confident that her strategic vision, leadership and compassion will guide us toward even greater success in our fight against suicide.”

    Margraf joins Kevin’s Song with a commitment to advancing the organization’s mission of empowering communities, raising awareness, and providing support to those affected by suicide. Her appointment marks a significant step in ensuring Kevin’s Song’s sustained impact in the field of mental health. In her role, she will be responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the organization.

    She has held leadership positions in nonprofit organizations for more than two decades, bringing a wealth of experience to Kevin’s Song. Margraf has worked in leadership positions

    with organizations such as the Sturgis (MI) Council of the Arts, Thurston Woods Village, DuPage (IL) Symphony Orchestra, Camp Fire Illinois Prairie, Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago

    and Northwest Indiana, Detroit Chamber Winds & Strings/Great Lakes Chamber Music Festival and Clarkston Area Chamber of Commerce.

    Margraf earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in family life education and a Master of Arts degree in organizational management from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan. She

    further enhanced her leadership capabilities through the Executive Education Program at Oakland University in Rochester, Mich., where she obtained a Master of Business Administration. Margraf also is a certified fundraising executive through CFRE International.

    She currently resides in Rochester Hills with her husband and two teenage children.
