Brew Detroit Ramps Up Production, Joins Michigan’s Largest Beer Distribution Network

DETROIT — Brew Detroit is going statewide.

The Detroit-based brewery announced today it has joined the beer portfolio of AllPoints Distribution Network, the largest beer distribution network in Michigan. The acquisition means Brew Detroit branded products will be distributed in every county statewide through AllPoints network of Anheuser-Busch distributors.

Beer lovers from the Upper Peninsula to Grand Rapids to Saginaw to Metro Detroit will soon see Brew Detroit beers on store shelves, including its award-winning, Mexican-style Lager called Cerveza Delray.

Brew Detroit, which started as a contract brewing facility in 2014, operates in a 61,000-square-foot brewing and packaging facility in Detroit’s Corktown neighborhood at 1401 Abbott St. Brew Detroit began producing its own branded beer in 2015 for its Taproom and first began distribution to retail in 2017. The company also operates a 7,000-square-foot taproom that features Brew Detroit beers on draft as well as a full kitchen.

Brew Detroit’s Cerveza Delray, its flagship Lager, is a clean, crisp, easy-drinking, Mexican-style beer that was a prestigious Great American Beer Festival medalist. The brewery also produces a popular New England IPA called Cloud 19, a cherry-lime Lager called Yumtown and a Blonde Ale called Campin’ Beer. All beer styles will be distributed by the AllPoints Distribution Network.

Brew Detroit beers are available in a variety of packaging including 12-, 16- and 19.2-ounce cans as well as four-packs of 16-ounce cans and 12-ounce cans in both a 12-pack and a 15-pack, as well as 1/6- and 1/2-barrel kegs. Products available in the market will include Cerveza Delray, Cloud 19, Yumtown, Campin’ Beer, Pleasant IPA, Cerveza Delray Oscura, Citrus Wheat, Cornerman, Winter Lager and a Double IPA set to release in April.
