MILWAUKEE, Wisc. — The National Association for Business Resources honored Milwaukee’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For during a virtual awards celebration this week.
Awards went to three “elite” companies – in Small, Medium and Large business categories – along with dozens more winning companies.
Milwaukee’s elite winners included:
- Best of the Best Large Business: Lutheran Social Services of WI and Upper MI Inc.
- Best of the Best Medium Business: Primex Family of Companies
- Best of the Best Small Business: Quest CE
These elite Milwaukee area companies demonstrated exceptionally innovative human resource practices and set high standards for all of Milwaukee businesses. The winners are selected based on their overall high scores and are then named an Elite winner in their respective category.
“These companies have shown fortitude and have inspired others to make critical decisions for the betterment of their teams” said Jennifer Kluge, President and CEO, National Association for Business Resources and the Best and Brightest Programs “They focus on the needs of their employees as a primary objective, and are the leaders of the Milwaukee community.”
Winning companies were assessed by an independent research firm, which reviewed a number of key measures relative to other nationally recognized winners. The categories applicants were scored on include: Compensation, Benefits and Employee Solutions; Employee Enrichment, Engagement and Retention; Creative Wellness and Wellbeing Solutions; Employee Education and Development; Recruitment and Selection; Employee Achievement and Recognition; Communication and Shared Vision; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Work-Life Blend; Community Initiatives and Corporate Responsibility; Leadership Strategy and Company Performance.
“The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For winners are a powerful community of elite leaders who share ideas and practices, and have proven they are employers of choice,” Kluge said. “Best and Brightest winning companies have also been a voice for important actions in creating a sustainable culture that works, ensuring the wellbeing of their employees come first.”
The Best and Brightest Companies to Work For program identifies and honors organizations that display a commitment to excellence in operations and employee engagement that lead to increased productivity and financial performance.
