ROCHESTER AND WEST BLOOMFIELD, Mich. – Family fun just got a lot more exciting with the opening of two new amusement concepts at TreeRunner Adventure Parks.
New at Rochester and soon to open in West Bloomfield is the new Bounce Forest, bringing trampoline fun in a forest setting. People can enjoy outdoor bouncing in the middle of a forest on net trampolines, which remind you of trapeze nets at the circus – and it’s not just a single trampoline, but a series of connected trampolines for hours of fun.
This unique experience gives people an outdoor thrill in nature, but with the same fun of an indoor trampoline park. Once night comes, the lights and music illuminate the forest and create an outdoor experience like no other. Reservations aren’t required, but will help eliminate a short wait.
The second addition to TreeRunner is The Putt Forest at TreeRunner Rochester and West Bloomfield. This is far more than putt-putt golf. Imagine being transported to a forest in the middle of a national park and being able to play mini golf amongst the trees. It’s a forest canopied 18-hole (27 in Rochester) mini-golf featuring real golf-course-like curves and twists for an authentic experience. Plus being in a forest setting, it’s cooler than plain old mini-golf in the hot summer heat.
“With the popular Top Golf concept and Tiger Woods’ PopStroke in the southern United States bringing in golf enthusiasts and first-timers alike, this is a great opportunity in Michigan for people to experience mini-golf in like no other setting,” said Jeremy Fishman, CFO of TreeRunner Parks. “We supply the putters and golf balls, or people may bring their own. People can golf between 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. weekends under the lights. Leagues are welcome.
“The new Bounce Forest at our Rochester Park has been a huge hit so far,” Fishman added. “People love the forest setting and the workout they get from having a 30-60 minute turn jumping from net to net. The Putt Forest is a golfer’s dream come true because people can play mini golf in the shade all summer long.
“Of course, our signature draw is the TreeRunner adventure park climbing and ziplines courses, varying from very easy to very difficult. Some ziplines reach up to 300 feet. We aim to make the park as family accessible as possible. We’ve had people of all ages starting as young as three enjoying the park experience.”
Summer hours at TreeRunner Rochester and West Bloomfield have commenced, making it the perfect time for families to plan their visit.
