Marsh McLennan Agency has hired Chuck Hurst as a Retirement Plan Consultant in Troy, Mich.
With more than 17 years of experience, officials called Hurst is a “welcome addition” to MMA Michigan’s rising retirement service practice. MMA offers business insurance, employee health & benefits, retirement, and private client insurance solutions to midsize businesses and individuals across North America.
Hurst started his career in wealth management where he helped clients plan for insurance, investments, and financial planning. He later moved to a wholesaler role where he gained sales experience in 401k, 403b, non-qualified deferred compensation, defined benefits, and ESOP plans for the last 15 years. As Hurst transitions to his new role at MMA, he is enthusiastic to continue his passion for spreading financial knowledge through MMA’s retirement services practice.
As a retirement plan consultant, Hurst will partner with employers to build custom retirement programs that align with the needs of diverse workforces. His skillset is well suited to serve the needs of the organizations on a local and national level.

Hurst received his Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University.
