What can a guide dog and blind person teach professionals about good leadership? A lot more than one might imagine. Leadership Oakland and Leader Dogs for the Blind have partnered for a unique look at a leadership development technique that is quickly gaining popularity.
Join these two organizations as Leadership Oakland takes its Breakfast of Champions series to Leader Dogs for the Blind headquarters, 1039 S. Rochester Rd., Rochester Hills, on Tuesday, January 23, from 7:30- 9:00 a.m. An optional tour of the impressive Canine Development Center that changes hundreds of lives each year will be available afterward.
Harness the Power of Leadership is a unique offering by Leader Dogs for the Blind to help individuals and teams directly experience and understand how the relationship between a guide dog and its recipient can help them be stronger professionals.
