Ready, set, lace up your sneakers” is what the American Heart Association is encouraging southeast Michigan residents to do at the Detroit Heart Walk on May 14 at West Riverfront Park Downtown Detroit. Leading the campaign is Heart Walk Co-Chairs Don Davis, Vice President, Business Development, Central Region, Barton Malow Company and Chad Downing, Regional Healthcare Director, Walgreens. Festivities kick-off at 8 am and include a non-competitive 2 and 3 mile walking route or a timed 5K run, Kids Zone, fitness activities, Mascot Race, health screenings, and family friendly fun!
