Dorsay Agency Launches Unite Websites for Startup Businesses

PONTIAC, Mich. — Dorsay Creative, a boutique marketing agency in Pontiac which offers digital marketing, website design and social media services, has just launched a new business for startups called Unite Websites, offering high-quality websites at a cost of $499 without any hidden extras. Dorsay Creative’s Founder Steven Childs, who is co-founder of the new company and its chief executive officer, hopes the new venture will offer an opportunity for startup businesses with limited budgets to get visible online as quickly as possible.

“Custom built websites can be expensive and someone opening up a small shop or other small business might not have tens of thousands of dollars to spend, but obviously without a website a business can’t reach its customers,” explained Childs, whose expertise in marketing and website design spans two decades. “We are offering an extremely high-quality website for $499, where startups actually own the website, so they are not locked into a platform.” Beyond the $499, there are fees for options to add e-commerce on the site or the ability to book appointments, which could be a requirement for business such as hairdressers.

Childs also explained that while some website companies offered the ability for people to build their own websites at what appeared to be bargain prices, many new businesses had difficulty in completing the project or were not happy with the result. “If you aren’t a professional website designer it can be very difficult to get the look you want,” explained Childs. “We can achieve a professional look for clients in as little as one week so that their businesses can get up and running.”

Unite Websites is supported by a team of experts including co-founder and chief technology officer Raheem Kareem, co-founder and chief operating officer Rachellle Rap, and art director and web designer Jon Stys.

Dorsay Creative was founded in 2016 and now has a team of nine employees whose collective experience spans 170 years, in fields ranging from marketing, publicity and advertising to business development, video production, website and graphic design and social media.  In November 2022, the company moved from an 80-square-foot facility to a 2400-square-foot building in Pontiac. In January 2023, the company achieved Minority Owned Business Certification. This certification from the National Minority Supplier Enterprise Council, involves a vigorous application and interview process, and is aimed at advancing economic equity in minority businesses and creating connections between minority owned business, corporations and the public sector.
