Joseph P. Cabadas is an award-winning author and reporter with 15 years of automotive news, business, feature and public relations writing experience. A graduate of the University of Michigan-Dearborn, his two previous books for Motorbooks–River Rouge: Ford’s Industrial Colossus (2004) and The American Auto Factory (2002)–won gold medals for general history from International Automotive Media Awards and were named notable books by The Library of Michigan. The ghostwriter for two corporate history books, he has had articles published in the Detroit Athletic Club News, Corp! Magazine, GreatCarsTV.com, Auto Interiors magazine, and elsewhere. Prior to 2001, Cabadas worked at publications including Used Car News, the (General Motors) Tech Center News, and for The News-Herald of Southgate, Michigan, where he won awards for feature and news reporting from the Michigan Press Association.
