MIND Expands With New Riverview Center

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — Michigan Institute for Neurological Disorders (MIND) announced the opening of its new Riverview Center, which offers comprehensive care for complex neurological conditions to the Downriver community. The nearly 6,500-square-foot, state-of-the-art center is dedicated to diagnosing, treating, and managing neurological disorders affecting the brain, spine, and nervous system.

Neurological disorders are among the fastest-growing causes of disability in the U.S., a trend largely driven by our aging population. As more individuals face conditions such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis (MS), and other neurological diseases, the need for accessible, specialized care continues to rise.

“With the rapidly increasing number of aging baby boomers, there is a significant rise in neurological problems and a need for prompt, convenient, specialized neurological care,” said Dr. Jonathan Doty, MIND MS-fellowship-trained neurologist. “The opening of the MIND Riverview Center supports our ‘closer to home care’ philosophy as we recognize that travel distance can be a serious barrier to care for people with chronic neurologic conditions. Early diagnosis and treatment can greatly improve outcomes and quality of life for patients.”

“We’re facing a surge of neurological diseases that will challenge our healthcare system,” said Dan Badgley, CEO of MIND. “Meeting this challenge requires innovation, collaboration, and a strong commitment to expanding access to specialized neurological care in the Downriver community. As Michigan’s leading neurology practice, our team combines top specialists, advanced diagnostics, and ongoing research to provide the highest level of care for every patient.”

The MIND Riverview Center is equipped with advanced neurodiagnostic technology and infusion therapies, providing efficient, high-quality care delivered by neurology specialists.
