DETROIT – Better Made Snack Foods has teamed up with Batory Foods in Lithia, Ga., and First Baptist Church of Woodstock, Ga., to donate food products to the people in North Carolina and Georgia who were impacted by hurricane Helene.
Specifically, Better Made sent a fully loaded 53-foot trailer packed with over 13,900 bags of various snack foods to help.
“We felt that we couldn’t just sit back and watch what the people were going through because of Helene,” says Phil Gusmano, VP of Better Made. “We teamed up with Batory Foods and First Baptist Church, and decided to send these treats along with our well wishes to try and bring some cheer to those being affected.”
