Whiskey Winter Wonderland Returns Nov. 27

Parade Company President Tony Michaels shows off the new Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan float, which will debut in the 2024 America’s Thanksgiving Parade.

DETROIT – Cue the snow, twinkling lights and music! For the third year, Detroit City Distillery (DCD) will deck out its Tasting Room for the Holidays, turning the space into a festive Winter Whiskey Wonderland complete with a brand-new holiday menu with new artisanal cocktails.

“If you’re in the mood for Christmas and a proper cocktail, you’ll find no better place than our Tasting Room, which we promise will be decked out to the nines with Christmas trees, lights, tinsel, music and all the fixings starting on November 27th and straight through until January first,” said J.P. Jerome, master distiller and co-founder of Detroit City Distillery. “Looking at our new menu, it’s hard to pick a favorite, but I especially love Down the Chimney, Sleigh Ride and Santa’s Beard. Whatever your preference, be sure to come down with your friends and toast with us under the lights.”

As the holidays progress, DCD plans to add special programming with pop-ups from local chefs and more. Details will be announced on DCD’s social channels. While visiting, patrons can also purchase DCD’s spirits onsite for authentically-Detroit holiday gifts.

Detroit City Distillery’s Tasting Room is located at 2462 Riopelle Street in Detroit’s Eastern Market.
