Women In Technology Connect-Net Event Looks At Nonprofits Aug. 9

The Michigan Council of Women in Technology are hosting a Connect-Net event Aug.9 called Nonprofits and You: Assessing the Personal and Professional Benefits of Being Involved with a nonprofit organization.

Nonprofit organizations serve an important role in our society and economy. Whether you work in the nonprofit industry, volunteer or contribute to one in your spare time, or want to explore how to get involved in one that’s right for you, MCWT’s August Connect-Net session will provide insight and tips to energize you on your path.

MCWT will bring together five influential nonprofit leaders to answer your questions and share their own experiences on how to make a difference. From advice on transitioning your career into the nonprofit world to positioning yourself as a nonprofit board member candidate, there are sure to be many relevant takeaways from this networking-rich event.
