AccessPoint Expands with Acquisition of Florida’s Veritas Employer Services

-“ AccessPoint, a human resource management company with offices in Novi, Grand Rapids and Traverse City, Mich., as well as Alexandria, Va., is expanding through its recent acquisition of Bonita Springs, Fla. -based hospitality human resource company, Veritas Employer Services, in an asset purchase transaction.

Former Veritas CEO Charles Ingram, who founded the company five years ago, will also be a minority shareholder in AccessPoint. The new company, AP Veritas, and its 10 employees, will continue to be based in Bonita Springs and serve clients in all AccessPoint markets.

AccessPoint has more than 300 established client relationships with companies in more than 20 states across the U.S., and this acquisition means that clients in the country club, hotel, and hospitality sectors will receive expanded and improved human resource management services for their facilities. Further, the acquisition will allow AccessPoint to expand its services to the Florida market.

AccessPoint is a professional employer services organization that specializes in workplace safety and risk management, employee benefits and administration. The company has 55 total employees spread throughout its five locations and is expecting a 30 percent increase in revenues in 2013 over 2012. The company is based in Novi.
