Oh Atlanta! The city brings out the best in entrepreneurs and businesses - and the Best and Brightest Companies to Work For puts them on center stage. This year’s 61 winners show us how great companies can bring out the best in people, businesses and communities.
The National Association For Business Resources (NABR) program identifies and honors organizations that display a commitment to excellence in human resources and employee enrichment. This year’s winners practice innovative strategies and represent best practices in human resources in industries as diverse as the financial services, technology, construction, manufacturing and nonprofit. An independent research firm evaluates each company’s entry based on key measures in various categories. They include Compensation, Benefits and Employee Solutions; Employee Enrichment, Engagement and Retention; Employee Education and Development; Recruitment, Selection and Orientation; Employee Achievement and Recognition; Communication and Shared Vision; Diversity and Inclusion; Work-Life Balance; Community Initiatives; Strategic Company Performance; and the Best of the Best Small Business. The companies were honored June 20 at the Atlanta Marriott Century Center.
“Profitability and stability is essential for businesses in today’s economic climate. Companies that recognize that their employees are the key to their success, achieve staying power. Our 2013 winners style their business standards to ensure employee satisfaction and they set standards for every business to aspire toward,” said Jennifer Kluge, NABR president. “We are very impressed by the commitment that they have demonstrated to their employees.”
The winning companies competed for three “Best of the Best Overall” elite awards granted for Small, Medium and Large size businesses. The elite award winners were unveiled during the luncheon.
