Samsung and WeWork are partnering to present an exclusive panel discussion on Monday, Nov. 27, featuring three creative business leaders. The free event will be moderated by Samsung Electronics America’s vice president of design Mick McConnell and features Jacques Panis, president of Shinola, Ryan McLaughlin, founder of McL Digital, and Dawn Goldwork, co-founder of 12.29. The discussion will focus on the relationship between self-promotion and perception and their effect on business growth, ideation and making.
The discussion is part of the recent partnership between Samsung and WeWork to launch an engaging new pilot program to deliver a new level of Samsung customer service at WeWork centers in Detroit, Miami and New York. The concept goes further than customer service to create an open-to-the-public workspace inside WeWork to provide Samsung customers with professional resources and services to make the best use of their wait time.
Panis started at Shinola in 2010, taking charge of the company’s product development and strategic brand direction. McLaughlin founded McL Digital, which operates as a global network of talent focused on idea generation and digital transformation. Goldwork is an olfactive expert, creating fragrances for names like Lady Gaga and Adidas.
