Can an inspired work environment increase productivity and performance outcomes? How do successful companies use design to communicate their unique culture? These and other questions will be discussed at a breakfast program on April 26th from 8:30 to 10:30 am. The Association for Women in Communications presents this interactive panel discussion, to be held at ISCG, a premier design studio, located at 612 N. Main St in Royal Oak.

Inspiring workspaces can improve human, organizational, and facility performance. Great design can help create a space that attracts and retains the best talent and maximizes employee performance and happiness.

Katie McGerty, Marketing Manager at ISCG will be joined by fellow panelists Karen Dybis of Corp! Magazine and Kristin Palm, Managing Director of Communications at TechTown. Each of the panelists will bring a distinct perspective to the group conversation.

“Ever walked into an office and thought to yourself, “I know exactly what these folks are about?” asks AWC chapter president, Deniella Ortiz-Lalain. “When a brand or a company’s culture is evident, it’s by design. This event will offer a great opportunity to learn from noted experts and thought leaders.”

The breakfast program begins at 8:30 AM. Cost is $25.00 for AWC members, $35.00 for future members and $15.00 for students and recent graduates.

Our panelists:

Katie McGerty is the Marketing Manager at ISCG, providing organizations with the data they need to successfully stage their brand and culture through their workplace.

Karen Dybis is a writer, blogger and the author of four books on Detroit. She is a frequent contributor to Corp! Magazine, Detroit Unspun and The Detroit News.

Kristin Palm is Managing Director of Communications at TechTown where she leads communications, marketing and branding, and manages TechTown’s events and co-working programs.
