Livonia, MI, March 20, 2017 – To celebrate thirty-three years of blazing a trail and leading the way for the acceleration of business growth, The Great Lakes Women’s Business Council will host its 33rd Annual Award Celebration emceed by Paula Tutman, WDIV Channel 4 news reporter and Emmy-winning journalist. Title sponsors are General Motors Company and woman-owned business RIM Custom Racks.

After positively impacting thousands of local businesses, the Great Lakes Women’s Business Council announces the unveiling of our inaugural awards. The inaugural award recognition program signifies our long-term passion of removing barriers and creating access for women and minority business owners. To mark this special occasion, we are honored to welcome featured entertainment Motown Legend Mary Wilson of The Supremes.

Honorees are not simply small business owners and supporters of Great Lakes WBC. They are driving job growth, committed to community and embody our mission of empowering others. Collectively, they employ hundreds and generate millions in revenue.
