Comerica Bank is partnering with the Detroit Public Library to present Joan Belgrave on July 17 at 6 p.m., the final concert of the Comerica Java & Jazz: A Coffee House Series. Belgrave is a remarkable Jazz singer, known for clean notes, vibrant melodies and vocal versatility. In addition to her trademark Jazz sound, she has also sung Blues, Gospel, Big Band, Standards, and Contemporary R&B.

The free concert series, now in its 18th year, featured Detroit jazz musicians on the third Tuesday of every month from March through July at the Detroit Public Library’s Clara Stanton Jones Friends Auditorium, 5201 Woodward Ave., Detroit.
