NOVI — ITC Michigan, with headquarters in Novi, recently announced a donation of $290,000 across seven Michigan food banks, as part of its Greater Giving program.
ITC Michigan, which builds, operates and maintains the high-voltage electric transmission system across most of the Lower Peninsula, will donate to the following seven Michigan food banks to help area residents in need:
- Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeastern Michigan
- Forgotten Harvest
- Food Gatherers
- Food Bank of Eastern Michigan
- Greater Lansing Food Bank
- South Michigan Food Bank
- Feeding America West Michigan Food Bank
“As the holidays approach, ITC Michigan recognizes the increased need for food assistance in our communities,” said Charles Marshall, president, ITC Michigan. “Our commitment to our communities extends well beyond the power we provide. We hope our contribution to these food banks brings comfort and relief to individuals and families in need.”
The $290,000 donation is part of an overall $450,000 donation across ITC’s three operating companies, including ITC Michigan, ITC Midwest and ITC Great Plains.
