Sgt. 1st Class Gregory A. Waters from the Eastpointe Army Recruiting Station received the Distinguished Service Cross during a ceremony at Selfridge Air National Guard Base. This is second only to the Congressional Medal of Honor he received, for his extraordinary heroism in Afghanistan in 2008.
