Ernst Benz helps raise over $35K for Lace Up Detroit

Detroit, MI | NEW YORK (September 13, 2021) – – Ernst Benz played host to its third annual Lace up Detroit charity event at the Uptown Detroit flagship store on September 1. The Pink Party live auction and raffle event raised over $35,000 in a single night to support the Detroit-based charity’s mission to “make a difference in people’s lives one shoe at a time,” and proceeds from the joyful event will help send new shoes to underserved women and children in the community.

Ernst Benz President and Creative Director Leonid Khankin, together with Lace Up Detroit President Suzanne Seitz and Chair holder Elaine Coffman, and Vista Maria President and CEO Angela Aufdemberge, joined in welcoming guests to shop, purchase raffle tickets, and bid in the live auction to support the nonprofit organization’s mission to shoe the feet of Detroit’s underserved.

“Giving back is the core of our philosophy of the Ernst Benz brand,” says Khankin. “Ernst Benz is so proud to continue our support of this incredible organization. With more than $35,000 raised at our Pink Party event, we are thrilled that Lace Up Detroit can provide even more shoes to women and children this year.”
