    Jenny Luth

GRAND RAPIDS – Amplify GR, a local nonprofit committed to preserving and widening pathways for neighbors and businesses on the Southeast side of Grand Rapids, announced that Jenny Luth has been promoted from Communications Manager to Director of Partnerships and Outreach.

Luth, who resides in the Boston Square neighborhood, has worked at Amplify GR since 2021 and has served in volunteer roles since 2017.

In her new position, Luth will direct all partnership activities for Amplify GR, focusing on HUB 07, a new community center that will welcome 15 partners to the space in the coming year. She will also play a pivotal role in enhancing communication with neighbors and encouraging their participation in the amenities that enrich Boston Square and Madison Square. Additionally, Luth is dedicated to empowering community members to take leadership roles in shaping the future of their neighborhoods.

“Jenny has continually demonstrated her commitment to community and collaboration,” said Amplify GR Executive Director Jon Ippel. “And as a neighbor in Boston Square, she has firsthand experience and insight into the community’s needs and aspirations.”

Prior to Amplify, Luth was communications manager at West Michigan Center for Arts and Technology, a senior public relations specialist at Steelcase, and a public relations consultant at Clark Communications. She has a Bachelor of Arts in advertising and public relations from Grand Valley State University.

“I was born and raised in this neighborhood and chose to live here with my family, so I couldn’t think of a more fulfilling opportunity than encouraging others to engage with this community,” said Luth. “I’m excited at what my neighbors are doing to ensure future generations can prosper in this area, and I’m proud to work together with them.”

Luth, her husband Tom Pike, and their five kids reside in the Boston Square neighborhood. Luth is a co-creator of the Boston Square Community Tree Lighting, which will celebrate its fifth annual event in 2025.
