Getting a mention in a gubernatorial state of the state aWinning $100,000 for a school competition for entrepreneurs is intriguing – certainly enough to make a follow-up phone call. Upon hearing such news in late February, Corp! called Dr. Tim Faley, managing director of the Samuel Zell & Robert H. Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies.

 

 

 

Getting a mention in a gubernatorial state of the state address is likely not a bad thing for a business. In the case of Energetx Composites, being called out was definitely a good thing.

 

 

 

In an economy like this, it is important to remember that there are businesses that are surviving, thriving and growing in the state of Michigan.
