October 1, 2009 - Ask just about any American for a success story as it relates to diversity and you’re likely to hear two words: Barack Obama. Indeed, when Corp! magazine contacted this year’s Diversity Awards winners, the election of the nation’s 44th president (and the first citizen of African-American heritage to hold the post) was typically among the highlights given for progress made to date.
